19 December 2008 - departing day
I didn't bother to change the time on my watch. Oh well.
We did all our packing last minute since there wasn't a lot of things.
(Skips all the part in the airport)
On the plane, I took lots of nice pictures. The sky was so nice. It's great to be up there! Really. Even though I've lost count the times I've been on an aeroplane, I still like being on one.
It was cold when we reached. Well, not exactly cold, but cool. One of the first times in Thailand where I actually felt the coolness during winter! Yes!
Grandad and we went by our house to drop our stuff off and off we went for dinner at our neighbour's restaurant. The food is really really delish!
After which, we went to see my great grandma and went to a supermarket to stock up on things.
At night, I spent the time doing some sketches for pictures that didn't really work out, sadly.

It was cold again today!
Woke up early and went to the market near by. I bought a jacket and t-shirt.
Went we got home, I helped Dad take our bicycles out of the storeroom and while I was getting him the toolbox, I found SAFETY GOGGLES! Hahahaha I love them.
Somehow, I fell asleep again and felt so lethargic the whole day.
Went to grandparents' house since my Aunt was coming over. Cousins didn't come because they were all busy, so it was boring being with my sister and the adults.
Went to Seacon, a mall near our house, and had dinner and walked around and bought really cheap comfortable flip flops.
We got home and my mum, sister and I went to visit our neighbours.
I watched a little bit of the drama series and went to sleep.

I woke up early and went to the market. Met Sam. He's a Thai Governor candidate and also a very famous actor. His skin looked really raelly smooth and super white! Those kind of porcelain complexion!
I wanted an autograph, sadly, I didn't have any paper, camera or pen with me.
I bought 2 scarves of which my dad calls rags. Oh well, it's the current fashion in Thailand. Also bought a polo t-shirt.
Went to my aunt's house. My cousin's computer was on so I went online and checked on Flickr a little. We watched a little bit of Van Helsings. I didn't get what was going on. We watched MTV instead.
Ate pizza and some Thai food for lunch and watched Good Luck Chuck on HBO.
We slacked around after that. We tried having a darts competition but they kept hitting the wall instead of the board so we gave up.
My cousin grew so tall! Probably 170+cm now. Oh well.
My other cousin had to study for her University exam so we left and went to this place. The Thai shopping area. It's good because the people there are only Thais and not tourists, so the things are very cheap.
Bought 2 t-shirts, a skirt and 3 hairbands.
After dinner we went home and went to our neighbour's house. Sat around for really long and the house next to my neighbour's house started having a fight or something. Things were banging and crashing on the floor and you could feel the vibration. There was a lot of shouting and screaming too. Scary.

Ate at home and went to grandparents' house.
We went to this museum. It's King Rama V's old house. The biggest house in the world made of tik wood. It was stunning! My mum said in her days, they allowed people to walk around in the house too and there wasn't barriers around.
I wanted to go to another building but it was closed. Went to see some displays and everyone wanted to go back after that, but I wanted to go see more stuff like the stables and horse cart displays.
Drove around to look for a restaurant but gave up after an hour or so. Ate at some expensive tourist place instead.
Wanted to go to the National Museum but it was closed so went to Platinum instead.
I didn't like it. The stuff won't great. I just bought 2 scarves, a bag and a pencil case.
Went to cut my hair. It looks weird. Really.
Went to see my great grandma and went home to pack for our trip to another province.
23 December 2008
We drove the Khoa Yai. About 2 to 3 hours ride.
The hotel wasn't really great. It was up in the mountain. But it was really cold! Well not VERY cold but it was cooling and windy.
Ate at Chok Chai Farm. I bought a bandanna :D
After checking in, we drove to this resort called Thong Somboon and they had stuff to play so we went. Each time was 150 baht (ugh). Sat a tram up to the mountain.
I drove a buggy! Hahahaha. Was damn fun. I was like racing like a wild banana at the end and my dad was like, SLOW DOWN SLOW DOWN.
Then, went for the ATV. Super fun fun fun! And I went too fast or something and drove off the course. My sister was so slow in front of me and I had to inhale all the exhaust fumes from her ATV.
Last was the Cart Cross. The car thingy kept died (like everyone else) and i slided backwards downhill and had to wait for someone to save me. Hahaha.
Went to drive around after that in the city area called Pak Chong.
Saw this Korean golf course. The grass were all brown.
Went to buy grapes and grape juice while driving up to the hotel. Really really nice!!! Tried my dad's wine. It's called Black Pearl Grape Wine Caribbean Style. Really sweet! Like sugar-sweet, it tasted sweet only too, no taste of bitter alcohol at all!
Went to take some pictures of flowers and ate at the hotel's restaurant and went up. So boring after that so I just read while everyone else watched TV.
Khao Yai is really ulu. Oh well. It's nature. (Groans)
The bed was bad. 3 of us squeeze on a queen size bed and my sister on a super single on her own since she was sick as she slept too much. I kept waking up like a million times and when I woke up, I keep sitting up. Weird.
24 December 2008 - Christmas Eve
In the morning, it was cold! Liked 20 degrees. It's the coldest I've experience.
There was fog everywhere and the sun wasn't up yet. It was very windy!
Went to take pictures with dad. The sun rise was pretty.
Ate breakfast and we checked out.
Went by another vineyard. They had a giant field of orange flowers so went to take very pretty photos!
Drove to Lopburi. On the way at Saraburi, we went by a temple which had Buddha's footsteps there. We brought home some holy banana.
Was told that the sunflowers aren't blooming now. Total mood spoiler.
At Lopburi, saw the monkey temple thing. It was a disappointment because it was so small!
The monkeys were attacking people's cars!
Drove by Winitsuksa then went to the King Rama IV's museum. Wasn't that impressive.
Hurt my left ankle a little. Ugh.
Wen home finally and finished a book.
Went to Seacon to celebrate Christmas eve and ate at MK.
Came back and watched Thai drama. VERY FUN!
25 December 2008 - Christmas
Had a weird dream.
Woke up because grandma was calling from New York.
Went to Seri Centre, another shopping centre near my house, and bought a yellow FBT football jersey and some light bulbs and wires.
After which went to Carefour. Went to walk around the shops along the road by the building. Sat in Black Canyon coffee drinking hot chocolate with my sister.
There was this weird, very weird in fact, waiter. He gave us a drink we didn't order and kept asking us what we want and blah blah blah over and over.
Went to grandparents' house and came home.
My sister and I rode our bikes around with our neighbour. This guard started stalking me and talking to me. I started calling him the stalker.
We took multiple shots on the swing and seesaw and he mysterically appeared in some of them.
Went to neighbour's house and watched a little bit of Transformers.
After that, went to Central, ANOTHER mall near my house, and went to eat at a Japanese restaurant called Fuji. Met neighbours there so we ate together.
After dinner, went to Asia Books and bought Queen of Babble gets hitched by Meg Cabot.
Walked around and went home to watch TV till 12 or something.
26 Decemeber 2008
Dad went to play golf with my uncle.
I took some pictures and we went out. Saw Stalker and the main guard house. I didn't want to though.
Went to Seacon and ate my favourite noodles and walked around.Bought lots of weird stuff, I don't know why either.
Came home and took a little pictures before going to my neighbour's house. Drank this flower drink with lime, was very delish! Rode my bike around a little and stalker was again around. Sat on the swing and see saw and there was all these ang mo kids around. These 2 little girls and other 2 boys playing soccer with their dad. They're European though.
The little girls were so cute! After we left they wanted to try to get on the swing.
Went back to neighbour's house. Stalker still on high alert. Almost banged into him when I was attempting a turn without holding the handle bars. He just turned up from nowhere.
Dad came home and we to eat at this porridge shop. Went to a supermarket area thingy near my house.
Came home and watched more TV till almost 1am. After the drama serial, there was a variety show programme which was super funny and interesting! Laughed like a mad banana.
27 December 2008 - Cousin's birthday
Woke up quite late-ish for once.
Went to eat lunch and walked around in Seri Centre. Took a taxi to grandparents' house.
Aunt and cousin were there when we arrived. Taught my cousin some science and tested him on the periodic table. Another cousin came and we was continued slacking and joking around.
We all went to a park near my house after that.
Joked with cousins. Haha.
My cousin goes to a very famous boys' school in Thailand. On Christmas eve, his school had a ball and he said some gays in his school came in shorts and high heels!
Then we all started joking about gays liking him and stuff. Hahaha. He's pretty good looking-ish, dresses well, very nice character and comes from a pretty rich family. It's possible.
We went into a maze and there was no way out at all. Decided to go though a empty spot in the wall to get out! We rode on 2 paddle boats. My cousin and I held on to each other's boat so we stick together. We started feeding fished and drift around. Then our mothers came on another boat and we just paddle away like mad after them.
We saw this little area so with a bridge so we paddled in and these park rangers were staring at us because it was a forbidden area. Ha!
On the way back to the car, we saw these people dancing aerobics and there was this old man of almost seventy years of age jumping around. My cousin was like trying to dance with him from afar. Ha! Everyone was watching.
Went to my neighbour's restaurant to eat. My cousin said that she wants to be a comedian when she grows up and he brother will be a singer and he'll come to Singapore for a concert. All his first row fans will be males! Ha!
Cut a birthday cake and we all went home. Dad wasn't feeling well so we dropped by a pharmacy outside the estate.
Watched Thai drama serials again.
Packed luggage.

Woke up and went to the market. Bought a scarve and a dress thing and 2 pairs of leggings and this toy thingy. Saw another Thai governor candidate. He's a newscaster. Very famous one too.
Packed luggage and on and on. Picked grandad up and went to the airport.
On the plane, I saw Utt! Like OMG OMG OMG. It was him! HIM!
I told my mum,'That's Utt!' But she didn't hear me or something but I think he did and was like looking at me. Oops.
There was a family sitting at the seats next to his and he gave it to them so they could all seat together and he was like,' I'll just sit in the back then.' The woman saw him and her jaws totally dropped and stayed there for quite some time. He's very very VERY famous in Thailand too. I watched his drama serials before.
He looks so ang mo-ish! He looks more Asian on tv though. He's mixed blooded American-Thai.
I watched Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. Very good show! Loved it!
On the way out, I waited at the gate and Utt walked out and was almost on the travelator already and I went: (all in thai)
Me: Utt
Utt: *Looks up* Yes?
Me: Can I have your autograph?
Utt: *Gives that TV smile of his* Okay!
Utt: So, are you Thai?
Me: Er, no. I'm Singaporean.
Utt: You speak Thai really well!
Me: Yeah, my mum's a Thai.
Utt: So, you went to Thailand for a holiday?
Me: Yeah.
Utt: (in English, with his American accent) What's your name?
Me: (in English) Janice
Utt: (in English) How do you spell that?
Me: J-A-N-I-C-E
Utt: Oh Janice. (And he says in it that sexy accent of his.) *done writing and gives me my book and pen back*

So happy like mad banana. I almost walked through the passport arrival thing!
And there was a guy in front of me some more and he was staring at me then I realised and quickly came out to the line and then I looked over at Utt and he was laughing. So was my family. Oh well.
While waiting for our bags, Utt took his and was leaving and he looked over so I waved at him and my sister did too and he waved back.
Oh happy day.
So that was it.
Went to Sembawang Shopping Centre. Quite cool.
